Q: What are the "35 Undeniable Truths About Taxes"?

A: They were part of an idea I had after listening to Rush's radio program several years ago.

Stoptaxes.com's 35 Undeniable Truths About Taxes:

1. You should oppose every damn Tax Increase on principle.
2. Taxation inhibits economic growth.
3. Taxes punish those who achieve.
4. If you give them a penny, they will take a dollar.
5. Dead Taxpayers don't vote, except in Chicago and South Texas.
6. If you tax something less, such as work, you will get more of it.
7. A reduction in planned spending is NOT a tax cut.
8. If it' s money coming out of your pocket and going to a Bureaucrat. It' s a Tax!
9. Taxpayers will be nickel-and-dimed to death by well-intentioned Governments. (That means Tax Increases for those of you in College Station and Rio Linda.)
10. If the person sitting next to you on the plane wants to tell his or her life story, they usually shut up if you tell them you work for the IRS.
11. User Fees is a euphemism for Tax Increases.
12. The IRS will never be abolished because politicians are addicted to OPM.
13. Tax Increases will never stop until politicians are elected out of office. (The California recall is an excellent example of this. Democracy in action.)
14. An Aggie Tax Increase. When a tax increase is not really a tax increase. (This one is dedicated to Gov. Aggie, Tom “Tax Increase” Craddick, and David “Dimwit” Dewhurst. AKA: The Three Blind Mice of Texas Government.)
15. All tax shelters are not created equally. Caveat Emptor.
16. You can't tax your way out of a recession.
17. The greatest football team in the history of civilization is the Dallas Cowboys. Circa 1960 to present. However, Arlington taxpayers were duped into building a Taj Mahal for Smiley Jones. Boy these Arkansas Hustlers are good.
18. This country was founded on a tax revolution. The public schools don't teach this anymore. Along with anything else about the Constitution or our Founding Fathers.
19. Anytime you give politicians money you've made a mistake.
20. We don' t have a budget crisis. We have a spending problem!
21. A third of your life will be spent working for the Government. Soon to be a half. The march towards Socialism continues on.
22. Be very wary of people who say your taxes are too low. Especially Benevolent Billionaires supposedly looking out for the Country' s best interest.
23. Rising Costs is a code word for Tax Increases.
24. Taxation is its own business with its own set of rules.
25. How do the rich get richer? They make someone else pay the taxes.
26. You can' t tax your way into prosperity.
27. The Education Fallacy (the more failure you produce the more money you get) is the biggest taxpayer Money Pit in the history of Federal and State Budgets.
28. The truth is Government is the problem. Not taxation.
29. Eminent Domain is the biggest threat to taxpayer property rights since Communism.
30. Any tax is a bad tax.
31. People should provide for themselves. Not Governments through taxation.
32. People who advocate higher taxes want a socially engineered society.
33. Raising Taxes never solves the problem. It's never the right answer.
34. In the long run, the IRS wins.
35. The IRS is never wrong.
